Log into AHS Identity Access Management (IAM)

Once the Netcare Access Administrators (AA) and/or Primary Custodian receive their AHS IAM Username(s), they can log into AHS IAM with their RSA SecurID remote tokens.

Log into the AHS IAM system from a community facility

If you are working in a community health care location (non-AHS), you will need an RSA SecurID token to authenticate.

  • RSA SecurID tokens
Access to Alberta Netcare and other eHealth initiatives is secured through 2-factor authentication (2FA), which requires an RSA SecurID token. When accessing from a site in the community, it is considered accessing remotely.
For more information, visit the RSA SecurID Tokens  page.
  • Username
You will receive your AHS IAM username via email from the eHealth Support Services team when the AHS IAM registration requirements have been met.

Please note, if your facility isn't registered to use AHS IAM, continue to the Register for AHS IAM page  for further information.
