- Health Information Act is the main body of legislation which governs the collection, use and disclosure of Albertans personal health information.
- Alberta Electronic Health Record Regulation is the regulation which governs the management and use of Alberta Netcare.
- Designation Regulation is the regulation which identifies which health professions can qualify for access to Alberta Netcare as a custodian.
