AHS Identity & Access Management (IAM) for Community
AHS IAM is an application that enables community Authorized Approvers to manage user access to applications such as Alberta Netcare Portal (ANP), the Central Patient Attachment Registry (CPAR), the Immunization Direct Submission Mechanism (IDSM), and the Alberta Vaccine Booking System (AVBS).
What is ANP?

What is IDSM?
IDSM is a standalone application that facilitates the electronic submission of immunization and assessment event information from health practitioners to the provincial immunization repository (Imm/ARI) through a web browser. Learn more about IDSM.
What is AVBS?
AVBS is a province-wide vaccine booking system that offers a one-stop booking experience that helps ensure Albertans have access to eligible vaccinations as quickly and safely as possible, no matter where they live. AVBS shows all available appointment times based on an Albertan’s postal code and clinic availability. AVBS is used by community pharmacies, AHS and physician clinics. Learn more about AVBS.
What is Community Information Integration (CII)/CPAR?
CII/CPAR is the chosen vehicle to integrate community EMRs with two-way data flow. CII is a system that transfers select patient information between community Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and other members of the patient’s care team through Alberta Netcare. CPAR is a provincial system that captures the confirmed relationship of a primary provider and their paneled patients. Learn more about CII/CPAR.
